This is an older style motel with a lot of wear. The room I had was large, interesting and well furnished with table and chairs, desk and office chair, extra counter space and a recliner! The beds were great! The shower was powerful, hot and fantastic! The most impressive thing to me, however, was that neither the lobby nor the room smelled: not like motel funk, not like the chemicals used to overpower hotel funk, not like a combination of the two. I’ve stayed in a lot of older style motels in 5 states around the High Plains and that, to me, is rare.
Best rate and even when all other motels full or over charging for an event that was occurring. Older and dated, even physical key for room. Beds comfy room clean, quiet, heat/air worked, and was good experience. Will stay again if here. As stated, just a motel, place to sleep, inexpensive and worth it.
Im gonna say this WOW , FOR the budget friendly pricing to the most accepting and accomodating and friendly staff. It was raining cats and dog and they were wonderful thank you so much for the EXCELLENT SERVICE i will REPEAT this stay
I was so tired and all my regular hotels were full. I called Blue Spruce to see if they had any rooms on the bottom floor and the said yes. As you can see the room felt more like a place I could live in and not just a typical hotel room, it was clean. The couch was soft and the mattress felt like it was new. There were a few dishes bowls and cups and some utensils. The staff was very friendly and nice and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.
The owners were great. The room was modestly decorated. Very clean and quiet. Nice area for the dog to run. I would definitely stay again.
This is a very nice motel. The lady that runs it was very helpful. I had not ate 8n two days and no place in town could deliver due to a sand storm. She offered her husband to go pick up a pizza for me or if I wanted some cereal she would make me a bowl. Its a older motel but it is kept up very well. Nice soft fluffy towels plenty of room in the room. Quiet most of all. I paid $72 & gladly will pay more to stay there. They are so wonderful.
If you want to back your luggage into your room this is the place!! I love getting my suitcase and walking the 9 ft through the door to the bed. It is an older hotel, shows some signs of wear, but is very clean with extremely cool furniture. I was complaining to my brother on this trip that there was only one chair in every room we stayed in, this one had four, and one of them was a recliner!! I absolutely love this place and would be happy to stay here again!! Great value!! I will take backing my car up to my room over breakfast any day!!
Perfect for what we needed. This was a one night stop for our family. Rooms are clean, location is convenient, price is right. Decor is dated, but part of its charm. The pool is clean and refreshing. There's even a play area with swings. Would definitely stay here again.
